

About Sana Ouchtati
Founder and manager of So-Cult. For more than 15 years she has been working as an independent cultural relations expert and adviser. She is steering important initiatives dedicated to International Cultural Relations. She has worked with over 30 countries and has built sustainable relationships and connections across the diplomatic, public, private foundations, corporate, cultural stakeholders and non-state actors. She is involved in different programs and projects creating European and international partnerships for exchanges: she is directing the Cultural Relations Platform since 2016 and has also coordinated More Europe – external cultural relations- initiative since 2012 for 10 years. She also serves as member of the Kunstenfestivaldesarts Board of Directors since 2022. Currently, she is focusing on the craft and fashion sector, promoting ancestral traditional savoir faire leading to contemporary expressions. ​ In 2001-2011, she worked at the European Institutions in Brussels, mainly on multilateral and bilateral partnership agreements with partner countries as well as the cultural dimension of the EU external relations with ACP Countries, MENA Countries and Emerging Countries before becoming an independent consultant. She has two Master's degrees, in European Union policies and in International Relations & Business Administration and a thorough knowledge of the cultural field, international relations . She has a thorough knowledge and experience in the MENA and Gulf region.
